Primary Care Partnerships help bring local health and community support services together to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
‘The Well’ is a shared regional tool where data, information, knowledge and evidence can be shared and used by PCP agencies to drive partnership responses to population health planning and action across the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. Originally named ‘IPHPE’ (Integrated Population Health Planning and Evaluation Resource), the client brief asked us to help develop a new jargon free name, along with an original, friendly and approachable brand identity.
Participating in a joint Strategic Workshop with our partners on the project, Fireworks PR, we were able to establish key thinking and ideas between ourselves and the client.
From here we presented the client with the name ‘The Well’ and tagline “Shared Knowledge for Community Wellbeing.”
The name is in reference to both the health word ‘well’ (‘wellbeing’ / ‘wellness’) and the idea that traditionally a town’s water well is the source of life and a focal point for communities to gather and share.
We then went on to develop and design a vibrant and welcoming brand identity, that celebrated and nurtured the ideas and projects that the organisation and their partners strive towards. The identity is flexible and universal and stands out amongst the crowd of corporate medical, private and government brands.
The following phase of the project, was to design and build the online resource itself, which allowed for multiple partnering outlets to contribute their own ideas and research into a shared community resource of information and projects.
